Currently at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Dr. Tom has served in many industry roles, such as an IBM Fellow, VP, and CTO at IBM, an NI Fellow at National Instruments, and GM, VP, and Hewlett Packard Fellow. He has led business units with P&L, R&D labs, held sales and marketing roles, and led teams to develop, launch and sell dozens of software and systems products. Including the creation of several new product categories: first laptop computers, predictive analytics software for Windows™, smartphones, converged blade servers, cloud managed infrastructure software, edge aaS software, converged OT-IT edge systems and software.
Dr. Tom’s products and solutions have received numerous industry and analyst awards, and he’s named in CRN’s Top 100 IT Executives & Top 25 Disruptive Executives in 2016, 2017, and 2019. He was elected to the IBM Academy of Technology, and the North Carolina State University Alumni Hall of Fame, and has cofounded several industry standards bodies and technologies.
Dr. Tom holds several US patents, founded and directs the HPE Channel-to-Edge Institute partner program, leads company-wide strategies, and advises on venture/M&A assessments. Dr Ulli Waltinger

Ulli Waltinger is the Associate Vice President for Artificial Intelligence & IoT (#AIoT) at Siemens Advanta Consulting and a Fellow of the Siemens AI Lab. Prior he was the Head of the Machine Intelligence Research Group at Siemens Technology, Siemens’ global research organization. He is passioned about enabling an open and interdisciplinary research and innovation culture with meaningful impact to people`s lives.

Dr. Carolina Pinart is the Global Product Director for New Generation Technologies at Nestlé, in charge of industrializing emerging technologies across the Group such as AR/VR, AI, chatbots, advanced nutrition or voice. She also leads Nestlé’s company-wide AI Strategy Program. She holds a PhD in Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia and has conducted business studies at the London Business School and New York University. Prior to Nestlé, she was the Chief Operating Officer of a New York City based startup, where she developed and launched an app ecosystem to match taxi supply and demand in real time. She also led Telehealth and Connected Car product development and new business launches for wireless carrier Telefónica, based in Madrid and the UK, with operation in Europe and Latin America. Carolina started her career as a consultant for Altran in France and worked in research and innovation for Siemens in Germany and for a leading technology center in Barcelona. Over that period, she published over 70+ papers in international journals and conferences and obtained 1 patent in diverse areas such as mobile video, wireless communications and optical networking.

Ed Ellis is the Regional Vice President EMEA at BeyondMinds, leading BeyondMinds’ business and sales development strategy in the EMEA region.Prior to joining BeyondMinds, Ed spent 12 years at HP, leading key sales and business development positions, including global sales and business development manager for HPE Moonshot, and General Manager - Americas for HPE Moonshot, Edge and IoT.
Before his tenure at HP, Ed was CEO and founder of a startup company that developed full-stack web applications for SMEs.
